Poor quality, poor customer service and lacking morals. Shop elsewhere. Purchased a bat for my son in July 2023. With minimal net use after a month a crack appeared in the toe. Whack sports offered to repair if we paid for return postage which we did. On receiving the repaired bat back my son then used it for a further month before excessive damage appeared (toe of the bat tore apart). As my son was now playing comp. cricket we needed a bat and purchased a new one. I requested a refund from Whack Sports (bat was used in total for about 2 months). Cricket stores in Melbourne agreed there is a fault in the willow of the bat and repair would only be a bandaid fix. Whack Sports terms and conditions that ‘damage to the toe of the bat is not covered under warranty’ is invalid in respect to Australian Consumer Laws. As per other customers reviews, Whack Sports have failed to respond to all emails once a refund was requested. The matter will now be heard at VCAT. Disappointing experience but lesson learnt.

If it is as brand new as you claim, why is there no seal on the Adidas box and I didn't pay your supplier, I paid you, hence I am demanding you to give me my money back or replace this shoe I never threatened you it is my right to post a review and I have done it. Your attitude towards your customer is clear when they post a negative review, you block them and suppress their voice Original: I have bought a pair of cricket shoes online from whack sports we bought it as a gift for our uncles kid as he loves the sport very much and it is UK12 size as we are not getting it anywhere in Melbourne stores, I had bought them online. then we received the package of a used shoes, the shoes had wear and tear on them. it was disappointing to see this and I called them as soon as I opened the package. out of all things I would never imagined that I would get a used shoes. we had to take them overseas and we kept this along with the other gifts we bought. and when we started packing that's when we opened it as the entire box was hard to accomdate in our luggage. As soon as I saw this, Immediately picked up the phone and called whackksports First I spoke to Sean and second I spoke to Vish, I emailed them the photos and the whole thing went downhill from there first they told they will call me and sort this out, waited for 2 days and told them my situation as I need to send this as a gift and just to get a answer contacted them 7 times in a row. absolutely disgusting way they handled this issue, first they started blaming me for contacting them after 6 days I received the package. second Sean started saying that I am the reason for wear and tear and he said you might have worn it to a game. third, I had to speak to them 7 times to get a answer, first they told me they will replace and then they started blaming me saying " you didn't call us the minute you received the package" I am absolutely disappointed in this sports shop, I paid my hard earned money to get a brand new item, not somebody's hand me downs. Imagine yourself in my place, gifting hand me downs to someone. disgusting and disappointing by this sports shop. I will never buy from them again and I will recommend everyone to spend their hard earned money else where

*Edit from my previous review* Having not such a good experience with buying online, I was subsequently contacted by the customer service team member Amy from WHACK Sports and was very diligent at my concerns. Happy to say that my concern was addressed. This sort of customer centric approach certainly adds to the confidence amongst the online buyers. Really appreciate your efforts!!
